KATRINA AND PAUL Katrina and Paul met in college and worked in Tanzania for a few years after school with a very popular study abroad program. Their wedding day was beautiful but all forecasts pointed toward rain. Ensuing rainclouds and thunder caused us to speed the ceremony to a pace that will probably go down in history as the fastest ceremony ever! The wedding party practically ran down the aisle chased by rainclouds…but nothing will dampen the memory of that day, and Paul and Katrina headed off to Africa, where I’m sure they got their fill of sunshine.

ANNE AND BEN Well-known and well-loved on their college campus, Anne and Ben’s wedding is still being talked about as a fantastically fun event.

NICOLE AND MIKE

Nicole was recommended to me by a friend. She and Mike are a fantastic couple. From the surprise horse-and-carriage entrance to the oversized champagne glass at the reception, this wedding can only be described as FUN. Khrista Moses was my second photographer.

KIM AND JOSH

Kim and Josh go to my church. I only shot their reception: a few candid shots of guests.

BEN AND JEN

The groom in this wedding is my brother’s best friend and I am friends with the bride. These two are not only a beautiful couple but probably the most beautiful personalities I know as well.

I have not included many “parent” shots lately, so here are a few of the bride-and-her-dad and the groom-and-his-mom. They are appropriate to this wedding: Jen and Ben have some of the greatest parents on the planet.

This picture isn’t perfect but I love the motion…the lifted necklace and her expression. I may try a few of these in black and white soon.

It’s also appropriate that these pictures show so much dancing and happiness..this was one of the most genuinely “celebratory” weddings I’ve been to…a sense of deep joy permeated the whole event. Thanks, Ben and Jen.
